Copy the Bank Memory item table
The importer reads RuneLite Bank Memory's tab-separated item export. It does not connect to your game account or open your bank remotely. Sign in first if you want ownership saved with a character; a guest import is temporary.
- Enable Bank Memory in RuneLite and open your bank in game.
- In Saved banks, right-click Current bank → Copy item data to clipboard.
- In Scape Optimizer, open Saved loadouts → Character → Import bank.
- Paste the full table into Paste your bank export, or use Choose file for a .tsv or .txt export.
Review before changing ownership
The preview shows recognized equipment, new items, already-owned items and skipped rows. Use View all items to inspect a larger preview. Items are matched by their exact catalogue ID, with quantities displayed separately.
The default Add to my owned gear keeps existing ownership. Open Import options and choose Replace my owned gear only when you want the imported list to replace the previous list. Review how many existing items will be removed.
- Review the preview and the chosen import mode.
- Choose Add owned gear, or Replace owned gear for replacement mode.
- Open Manage owned gear to check the resulting list. Use Undo last import if you need the previous list and have not changed ownership again.
Understand what the import means
Non-equipment or unsupported rows are skipped, zero quantities do not establish ownership, and duplicate IDs are combined. Charged, uncharged and ornamented variants stay distinct; importing one version does not establish ownership of every version.
The raw bank export is not uploaded. Only the resulting owned item IDs become character preferences. Signed-in ownership saves with the selected character; guest ownership lasts for the current session.
Imported equipment contributes zero additional purchase cost in single-target and encounter searches. Quantities do not supply ammunition, runes, charges, crafting materials or consumables.
Maintain ownership after an import
In Saved loadouts → Character, open Manage owned gear to add or remove individual items. Search owned gear appears for longer lists, and Show more reveals additional entries.
In Best setups → Budget & owned gear, the checkbox Count the gear in … as owned treats the active loadout's equipped items as owned separately from the imported list. Exclusions still constrain a search, and allowing a reward unlock does not mark the reward owned in owned-only mode.
