Manage characters and resume saved work
Create separate character workspaces, check autosave and handle cross-device changes.

Create, select and edit a character
Sign in to use the Character selector above the workspace. Each character has a separate comparison, saved settings, completed searches and loadout library. A new account starts with Main character.
Use the selector to switch characters. Choose Edit character beside it to change the Character label or optional In-game name, then choose Save changes. The in-game name accepts up to 12 letters, numbers or spaces and is only a label.
Under Saved loadouts → Character, Levels includes Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic, Hitpoints and Prayer, plus Mining and Herblore where relevant to game calculations. Enter the values for this character, or choose Set all to 99. Manage owned gear and Unlocks expand separately beneath the character settings.
Archive character opens a confirmation and hides that character from the selector. The app has no restore control for archived characters, so export any comparison you want to keep accessible before archiving.
- Choose Add character beside the Character selector.
- Enter a Character label such as Main, ironman or pure; add an In-game name if useful.
- Choose Add character to open its separate workspace.
- Open Saved loadouts → Character to edit Levels, Imported & owned gear and Unlocks.
Resume the selected character on another device
Signed-in changes autosave after a short pause. Sign in elsewhere to restore the last selected character and its saved page, comparison, target and settings. Check for All changes saved before relying on another device to have the latest edits.
Returning to an open tab refreshes saved work when that tab has no local edits. An open visible tab also checks periodically. Unsaved local changes are protected from an automatic refresh.
Completed Best searches restore evaluated setups, captured prices and original target settings without rerunning the optimizer. Changed inputs, prices or calculation versions can mark a restored result as needing a refresh while keeping it visible.
Respond to save errors and conflicts
Unsaved changes and Saving… describe work that has not yet finished saving. Temporary failures are retried. If Save needs attention appears, read the error and use Retry save when it is available.
Save conflict means another session changed the character. Reload saved character loads the saved version; it does not merge competing edits. Export the current comparison first if you need to retain it before reloading.
Avoid editing the same character on two devices at once. Switching characters tries to save the current work first. Sign out also attempts to save, but a sign-out notification can report that recent changes or Best results could not be saved.
