Import levels for an added character

Hiscores are Jagex’s public list of player ranks, levels and XP. You can link a public RuneScape name to an app character. This needs a Scape Optimizer account, but no Jagex login. It does not prove you own that game account.

Only names you choose to track are checked. The first successful import applies reported levels to the calculator’s nine skills across your character’s loadouts. Skills missing from hiscores keep their current calculator values.

The tracker can record all 24 skills, including Sailing when the source provides it. Not all tracked skills are calculator fields.

  1. Sign in and choose an added character from the header character menu.
  2. Open Character → Tracker, or choose Import RuneScape levels beside Levels.
  3. Enter RuneScape name and choose Import & track.
  4. Check the imported levels and the Last update time.

Get new hiscores and apply levels

While tracking is on, the app checks for new stats at most once an hour. It can do this while the app is closed. Background checks record progress without changing your calculator levels.

Use Import current levels to apply the latest saved levels to the calculator. Refresh hiscores checks for new data when the hourly wait is over. A successful manual refresh also applies the returned levels.

Read Last update and Next hourly check. A busy service or a limit from Jagex can delay the next check. Failed checks keep the last successful record with its old date. A name or skill may be missing from hiscores.

Read XP and level gains

Choose 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or All time. These views show gains from saved records in the selected period. Your first record is a starting point. A later record is needed to show gains.

Choose a skill in Experience history, or select one in the table. You can view overall XP, total level and the ranks and levels reported by hiscores.

History starts when tracking begins. It cannot recover earlier progress. Check the dates below the chart to see what it covers. Long histories may use daily or monthly samples. Missing or unranked values appear as —.

Pause tracking or choose another name

Choose Stop tracking to pause new checks. Your recorded history stays saved. Use Resume tracking for the same name to continue that history.

Enter a different RuneScape name and choose Track this name to start a separate history. Earlier records stay stored separately. They are not mixed into the new name’s chart.

Archiving an app character also stops its background checks. Saved tracking history belongs to your app account. The stats come from public Jagex hiscores; linking a name does not give the app access to your game account.
