Set a target’s health, phases and defence

Choose the correct monster version and tune current HP, raid scaling and defence reductions.

Choose the target and supported phase

Open Boss & raid → Target settings → Change monster. Search for a monster and choose the intended version. When a path is active, select its encounter row before opening Target settings; replacing that monster changes that row.

Encounter phase appears for targets with supported states, such as armour or protection changes. Monster details shows attack speed, size, NPC ID and attributes. Review calculation notes and the Monster on OSRS Wiki link when a form or mechanic needs context.

Separate current health from maximum health and raid scaling

The Max HP summary shows effective health after supported scaling. Current HP sets the combat snapshot for HP-dependent effects; Restore full health returns it to that effective maximum. Customize monster stats changes base Hitpoints, combat stats and defensive bonuses; the summary shows their adjusted result.

Raid settings provides party size and supported ToA/CoX scaling inputs. In an encounter path, shared ToA raid level applies across the ToA fights while path levels are set beside each fight’s boost. Shared Nylocas colours use the same target stats and party size.

For raid phases, Allocated damage is the separate amount assigned for scoring. Use the raid builder’s healing, mechanic-damage and phase-allocation controls to change that work. Current HP does not change the full pool into an extra healing budget.

Apply the reductions you intend to assume

Defence reductions includes Dragon warhammer hits, Elder maul hits, Bandos godsword damage, Arclight hits, Emberlight hits, Eye of Ayak damage, Vulnerability and Accursed sceptre special. Enter hits for hit-count controls and damage for damage controls.

Eye of Ayak damage is total special-attack damage and reduces a positive Magic defence bonus down to zero. Review the resulting defence values and recalculate comparisons under the same assumptions. These inputs assume the reductions occurred; they do not simulate landing the special attacks, their energy or the time spent applying them.
